Percy Bush went on The British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 1904 and established himself as the breakout star.
The fly-half had not been capped by Wales before heading Down Under but ran the show for the Lions as they claimed a 3-0 Test series win over the Wallabies.
They lost their one Test against the All Blacks but Bush was a revelation in all four Tests and every game in between.
He finished the Tour as the top point scorer with 11 tries, 11 conversions and seven drop goals from his 17 appearances in the famous jersey – including a hat-trick of tries against the NSW Waratahs.
Dubbed 'Will o' the Wisp' by the Australian press for his devastating showings – Bush established the tradition of attacking Welsh fly-halves that would dominate the 20th century for the Lions.
The Cardiff-born No.10 would go on to win eight caps for Wales and also played cricket for Glamorgan and the MCC.
