After impressing for Scotland during the 1989 Championship, Peter Dods was called up for the Lions tour to Australia later that year.
While not playing in any of the Tests, the full-back still clocked up five appearances Down Under, scoring a total of 66 points and finishing on the winning side each time.
This included 21 points against the Brumbies and 20 points – including a try – against New South Wales Country in his final Lions appearance.
Dods made his final appearances for Scotland during the 1991 Rugby World Cup, winning his 23rd and final cap as a replacement in the third place play-off defeat to New Zealand.
