Scotland’s Peter Douty proved a versatile member of James Baxter’s 29-man party that toured Argentina in 1927.
Missing for the first Test, he started the second at full-back but switched to his favoured No.9 shirt for the third Test, scoring one of seven tries.
It was at scrum-half where Douty won all three of his Scotland caps, marking his debut against France in Colombes with a try.
Douty died in July 1948, aged 44.
