Forward Peter Denny Strang started the sole international match of the 1910 Lions Tour to Argentina.
The team went unbeaten throughout their six matches on the Tour, which included the 28-3 win over Argentina in Buenos Aires.
Strang played his rugby for his school’s old boys club Old Merchant Taylors and also for Surrey although he was never selected to play for England.
He later served in the First World War as a Lieutenant in the 14th London Regiment.
