Peter Wright is a Scotland international prop who toured with The British & Irish Lions in 1993 on their Tour of New Zealand.
He played on six occasions during the Tour, featuring in the famous red jersey against North Auckland, New Zealand Maori, Southland, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay and Waikato.
He won 21 caps for Scotland between 1992 and 1996 and was a cornerstone of his side’s front row during that period.
Wright played for Lasswade and Boroughmuir during his club career, plus latterly Edinburgh and also Borders.
After retiring he went into coaching as well as working in the media on the radio.
