Robin Harrison made his international rugby debut as part of the Lions side which travelled to Argentina in 1910.

Only four members of the touring party had previous experience of playing at international level – while the Argentina side were playing their first ever Test when they took on the Lions on June 12.

In the end it was Harrison and the tourists who came out on top in Buenos Aires 28-3 with the British players outscoring their opponents by five tries to one.

Harrison – who also played for Northampton RFC, Midlands and the South – started the game and also contributed two conversions and a penalty as a strong second-half showing saw his side triumph.
