Lineout specialist Roddy Evans began his Test career with a Wales victory over Australia in 1958 and went on to further success against the Wallabies in a British & Irish Lions jersey in 1959.
After missing out on the first Test, Evans – who won 18 Wales caps – started in the second as the Lions sealed a 24-9 victory over Australia in Sydney.
Evans would go onto make 18 appearances, starting all three Tests against the All Blacks, scoring one try against New South Wales Country.
Evans also won a Blue for Cambridge University against Oxford and qualified as a solicitor. He died aged 81 on 6 November 2016.
