The story goes that when Rowe Harding made his Llanelli debut on the wing, he dropped the first three passes he received.
Thankfully for both Wales and The British & Irish Lions, he managed to turn things around. Harding scored five tries in 17 Tests for Wales before retiring at 28 when he was called to the Bar.
As a Law student, he played four Varsity matches for Cambridge, captaining the side in 1927. During his career as a Lion he scored three times, played all three Tests against the Springboks and made 14 Tour appearances.
