Like his older brother Gavin, powerful centre Scott Hastings toured with The British & Irish Lions in Australia in 1989 and also in New Zealand in 1993.
Hastings, who collected 65 caps for Scotland, played his club rugby for Watsonians across a 20-year association with the team.
Hastings played for Scotland for 11 years and amassed 43 points for his country – he made his debut against France in 1986.
On the 1989 Tour of Australia, Hastings featured in two of the three Test matches, it was a different story altogether in 1993 though.
His trip to New Zealand was cruelly cut short as Hastings suffered a shattered cheekbone, meaning he missed out any Test match rugby against the All Blacks.
Since his retirement, Hastings has worked as a media pundit across a variety of television networks.
