In a single Lions Tour Scotland’s Stewart Wilson made 21 starts.
The full-back would tour just once for the Lions, in 1966 to Australia and New Zealand, but he crammed a lot into that trip, scoring one try and 90 points in his 21 starts.
Wilson started the second game of the Tour, a 38-11 win over South Australia, and would go on to make five Test appearances in the famous red jersey.
After missing the opening Test of the Tour Wilson played in the 31-0, series-clinching, win over Australia, before starting all four of the losses against the All Blacks.
Away from the international scene Wilson played his club rugby for London Scottish and also represented Oxford University in the 1963 and 1964 Varsity Matches.
