Tom Youngs and his younger brother Ben became the 14th set of brothers to be selected for the Lions when they both toured Australia in 2013.

Tom's call-up to the Lions was the culmination of a remarkable transformation for the hooker who in 2009 made the switch from centre on the advice of his then head coach at Leicester Tigers Heyneke Meyer.

Youngs appeared in all three Tests for the Lions in their historic series win over the Wallabies, starting the first two and coming off the bench in the decisive third clash in Sydney.

Under Stuart Lancaster, Youngs battled Dylan Hartley for the starting Red Rose No.2 jersey and started all four England games in the 2015 Rugby World Cup on home soil.

But since Eddie Jones took over as England head coach and Hartley has been installed as skipper, international honours have been few and far between for Youngs - whose father Nick played scrum-half for England back in the 1980s.
