Tony Underwood was selected for two Tours, to New Zealand in 1993 and South Africa in 1997.
Overall, he made 14 appearances for the Lions and finally earned his Test cap when he started on the left wing for the third clash with the Springboks.
On that 1997 Tour he scored seven tries in total, including a hat-trick against Northern Free State, and that added to his two four years previously takes his Lions career tally to nine.
Underwood - who played his club rugby for Leicester Tigers and Newcastle Falcons - made his England debut in October 1992 against Canada. He went on to win a total of 27 English caps, with the highlight as the 1995 Grand Slam.
