Williams ‘Willie’ Llewellyn was a devastating try scorer for both Wales and the Lions.

He made his Wales debut in 1899 and by the time the 1904 Lions Tour to New Zealand and Australia came around he had already played a key role in two Triple Crowns.

In all on that Tour he made 14 appearances and scored seven tries – including four tries over the three Tests against the Wallabies.

After the Tour, Wiliams returned to Wales to win a third Triple Crown and was part of the side that famously beat the Original All Blacks in 1905.

In all he won 20 caps for Wales and died in 1973 in Pontyclun at the age of 95, he was the last of the 1905 Wales team which beat the Original All Blacks.
