Wilson Shaw was a Scottish fly-half who could also play at centre and wing and made 19 appearances for his country during an international career that lasted five years during the 1930s.
He scored eight tries and two conversions in his career with his most famous moment coming in 1938.
In that year he was captain of Scotland’s Triple Crown winners after beating England at Twickenham where Shaw scored two tries as the Scots were victorious 21-16.
Shaw was selected for the Lions Tour to Argentina in 1936 and was part of the 23-0 victory over the full Argentina side as the team won all ten of their matches.
