Lions Australia Tour 2013

New Zealand speedster Doug Howlett will make his first Super 12 start of the season for the Blues on Friday as he bids to cement a place in Graham Henry’s squad for the British & Irish Lions summer tour.

The All Blacks wing has recovered from a hamstring injury and will be joined by fellow international team-mates Tony Woodcock and Steve Devine in the starting line-up for the first time.

Woodcock has missed the opening two matches with a foot injury while Devine has been forced to warm the bench with David Gibson chosen ahead of him in the scrumhalf position.
