Jamie Noon gave British & Irish Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward three great reasons to take him on this summer’s tour of New Zealand with a sensational Six Nations hat-trick against Scotland.
Noon bagged his treble in England’s 43-22 Calcutta Cup win over Scotland at Twickenham, winning the man-of-the-match award for his efforts.
The Newcastle centre was particularly thrilled to have claimed a hat-trick of scores in front of his watching family.
"My son is here today and this is the perfect end to a great day," he said.
"We knew we’d have to work hard against the Scots and we’re happy with the win."
