Harlequins have signed veteran fly-half Craig McMullen as cover following Andrew Mehrtens’ knee operation.
Mehrtens is set to be sidelined for six weeks, meaning McMullen goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s Guinness Premiership clash with former side Leicester.
As well as turning out for the Tigers, the 33-year-old has also played for Bristol and was part of the Leeds squad that beat Bath in the 2005 Powergen Cup final.
