Last chance to be a Lion trainer

This Wednesday is the last chance for budding young Lions to win a training session with the 2009 tourists.

Lions cubs have until midnight on May 13 to enter the HSBC competition giving 15 young fans from across Britain and Ireland the opportunity to take part in a unique skills session at the Lions’ UK training camp.

The lucky youngsters from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will become the HSBC Cubs and will be in for a very special and memorable day at a pre-tour training session in Surrey.

The children, accompanied by a guardian, will be given their very own team talk by Lions head coach Ian McGeechan before taking to the training pitch with the Lions squad, including captain Paul O’Connell.

Those wishing to be considered for selection as an HSBC Cub should enter the competition here

Lions Cubs must be aged between eight and 14 and be available all day on Monday, May 18. They will also need to be able to travel independently to Surrey.
