Jonny Wilkinson has revealed his delight the saga involving Toulon on Lions teammate has been resolved.

 


It had been reported that 2005 Lion Henson would be sacked by Toulon following an alleged nightclub altercation with teammates following the Top 14 triumph over Toulouse.

But having served his weeklong suspension, Henson has been reinstated to the squad and returned to training yesterday, ahead of facing Montpellier on the weekend.

And two-time Lion Wilkinson is glad that his fellow New Zealand tourist his been given another chance.

"He is a really good guy, he works hard, he has been doing great since he came in terms of performances," he told skysports.com

"There was a bit of a misunderstanding and a difficult situation, which has been, rightly, quickly rectified and allows everyone, including Gavin, to be able to move on and get back to what everyone knows is important, which is playing as a team and getting the best out of each other."
