Jones’ future remains in doubt

British & Irish Lions Adam Jones’s future remains unresolved according to his head coach at the Ospreys Steve Tandy.

The tighthead prop, capped 94 times by Wales, started all three Tests on the Lions’ victorious tour to Australia last summer.

But with his contract up at the end of the season with the Welsh region and a number of his Lions counterparts like Leigh Halfpenny and Jonathan Davies heading to France, the wait goes on for Jones’ future to be sorted.

And Tandy admitted that Jones' future club was still up in the air with less than two months of the season to go.

“There is no news and it is what it is," said Tandy.

“I am sure it will all come out and hopefully as soon as possible, but there is nothing for me to comment on really.

“It's something that is part and parcel of Welsh rugby at the minute.”
