THE STOOP TO HOST THE JAECOO PWR FINAL UNTIL 2029

Harlequins and Premiership Women's Rugby announce a landmark three-year agreement that will see The Stoop host the JAECOO PWR Final in 2027, 2028 and 2029.

PWR Stoop Finals announcement

Following a hugely successful 2026 Final at The Stoop, which attracted a crowd of over 8,000 fans and delivered a showcase event befitting the league's status as the premier domestic women's rugby competition in the world, the parties have committed to establishing a long-term home for the JAECOO PWR Final.

The agreement represents a significant step forward for the competition, providing certainty, consistency and the opportunity to build a flagship annual event that supporters can plan for and rally behind year after year.

Having hosted the Final for the first time in a decade in 2026, The Stoop proved the perfect stage for the league's showpiece occasion, with the incredible matchday atmosphere and elite action on the pitch underlining the continued growth of women's rugby in England.

The 2027 JAECOO PWR Final will take place on Sunday 27 June, with The Stoop once again welcoming the league's biggest stars as they compete for the ultimate prize in domestic women's rugby.

Harlequins Chief Executive Laurie Dalrymple believes the long-term partnership can help elevate the Final to new heights.

He said: "We were incredibly proud to host the PWR Final at The Stoop in 2026 and the success of the event exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, the quality of rugby on display and the support from fans demonstrated exactly why this competition continues to grow at such an impressive rate.

"This new agreement gives us the opportunity to build something truly special. By creating a permanent home for the Final over the next three years, we can continue to enhance the matchday experience, grow attendances and establish an event that is firmly marked in the sporting calendar.

"The Stoop has a rich history of supporting the women's game and we are excited to continue working alongside JAECOO PWR to showcase the very best of women's rugby through to 2029."

JAECOO PWR Executive Chair Genevieve Shore says the agreement is an important milestone in the league's development.

"The success of the 2026 Final showed us what is possible when you create a world-class event and give supporters a venue they can identify as the home of the Final.

"One of the biggest challenges for any major sporting event is building audience habits and creating a sense of occasion that grows year on year. By committing to The Stoop through to 2029, we are giving ourselves the best possible platform to do exactly that.

"The Stoop offers a fantastic fan experience, sits at the heart of one of rugby's most iconic locations and has already proven it can deliver an unforgettable Final. We are excited to continue building on the momentum generated in 2026 and establish the JAECOO PWR Final as one of the standout events in the sporting calendar."

The announcement comes at a time of significant growth for JAECOO PWR, with attendances, broadcast audiences and fan engagement continuing to rise as the league strengthens its position as the leading domestic women's rugby competition in the world.

The countdown to The Stoop 2027 starts now.
