Winger Alastair Biggar was called up to the 1971 Lions Tour of New Zealand after impressing coach Carwyn James with his back play for Scotland and London Scottish.
Biggar made his Lions debut in the opening game of the Tour, losing 15-11 to Queensland Reds in Brisbane, but went on to make nine more appearances in the red jersey.
Despite his nine tries on the Tour, including a hat-trick against Marlborough-Nelson Bays, he failed to break his way into the Test side.
Biggar won 12 caps in all for Scotland and played in three Championships. He died in February, 2016, aged 69, from cancer.
