Full-back Bob Hiller toured twice with the Lions, to South Africa in 1968 and New Zealand in 1971, but although he did not represent them at Test level.
The Harlequins player made his England debut against Wales in 1968, and won the last of his 19 caps against Ireland in 1972.
He captained England seven times and scored 130 points, a record at the time of his retirement.
A keen cricketer, Hiller played eight first-class matches for Oxford University and took 17 wickets at an average of 17.
He later taught at Bec Grammar School in Tooting, and King’s College School in Wimbledon.
