One of the few players in history to have played both for and against The British & Irish Lions, Elliot Daly will Tour for the third time this summer.

The England international made seven appearances on the memorable 2021 tour of South Africa, including a start in the first Test match against the Springboks, and scored one try against Cell C Sharks.

He also played a key part in New Zealand in 2017. The versatile back shone in the warm-up matches and earned a starting berth on the wing in all three Tests against the All Blacks, playing every minute of the series.

He was also involved in one of the greatest Lions tries ever scored as he exchanged passes with Jonathan Davies in the build-up to Sean O’Brien’s famous score.

And his penalty just after half-time in the third Test helped the tourists secure a 15-15 draw to tie the series in historic fashion, with Daly totalling 419 minutes across the entire Tour.

Four years earlier, the versatile back had lined up in the Barbarians side who took on the Lions in Hong Kong, kicking a penalty in a match the Lions won 59-8.

A star in the making from a young age, Daly made his international debut off the bench against Ireland at Twickenham before getting his first start in the No.13 jersey against South Africa in the autumn of that year.

He was later switched to the wing where he remained for the 2017 Six Nations, scoring two tries in five starts and showcasing his impressive speed as England retained their crown.

Daly swapped Wasps for Saracens in 2019 before helping England reach the 2019 Rugby World Cup final, while he also started four games as they won the 2020 Six Nations.

He featured at the 2023 Rugby World Cup while in the 2025 Six Nations, having started on the bench for England’s second round fixture against France, he came on to score the decisive 78th minute try that led to a famous 26-25 victory at Allianz Stadium.
