Manu Tuilagi managed to get on the pitch for the third and final Test of the Lions historic 2013 series win over the Wallabies.

The Samoan-born England centre impressed in the early stages of the Tour in clashes with Western Force and Queensland Reds but a shoulder injury sustained against the latter looked to have ended his chances of securing a Test place.

But after an impressive midweek showing against Melbourne Rebels before the second Test, Tuilagi was included on the bench for the decisive third clash in Sydney.

And he was introduced in the final quarter as the Lions secured a crushing 41-16 victory to wrap up a first series win in 16 years.

Since the Lions Tour Tuilagi, who made his debut for England in 2011 and was one of the bright spots of their Rugby World Cup campaign that year, has struggled with injuries.

He only made 14 1st team appearances over the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons for Leicester Tigers, missed out on the World Cup on home soil in 2015 and England's summer whitewash of Australia in 2016.
