Fan Ballot – Terms and Conditions

Friday 20 June 2025 at Aviva Stadium, kick-off time 20:00.

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the ballot process for tickets to attend The 1888 Cup between The British & Irish Lions and Argentina to be played at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Friday 20 June 2025.
  2. The ballot is exclusively available to subscribers of the Lions fanbase. You can join for free.
  3. The ballot is free to enter. For the avoidance of doubt, entry in the ballot does not guarantee a ticket.
  4. There is one entry per email address registered on the Lions database, subject to the following. Those entrants that complete the competition survey found here will receive an additional 10 entries into the ballot. No bulk or third party entries will be accepted and duplicate entries will be disqualified.
  5. Ballot entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
  6. The Ballot will open for entries from Tuesday 3 September 2024 at 08:30AM
  7. The Ballot will close on Monday 30 September 2024 at 23:59PM. Any entries received after this point, will not be eligible for the draw.
  8. The successful ballot entrants will be selected at random following the closing date of the ballot and will be sent an email notification, on a rolling basis, with information on how to purchase tickets between Thursday 3 October 2024 and Tuesday 17 October 2024. It is the responsibility of the ballot entrants to check their emails following the ballot closing date. If you haven’t heard from us after Thursday 10th October, unfortunately you will not have been successful in the ballot.
  9. A successful ballot entrant will be able to purchase tickets via Ticketmaster for 48 hours from the date of notification. If a successful ballot entrant does not purchase tickets by the end of this period, they forfeit all rights to purchase such ticket.
  10. Tickets will be available across multiple price points and in multiple locations across the venue. Success in the ballot does not guarantee the availability of tickets in any specific category or any specific location.
  11. Ballot entrants who are not initially successful will be held on a waiting list. Should tickets become available to the waiting list the sale will take place on a first come first served basis until sold out and tickets will not be guaranteed to all that apply. It is the sole responsibility of the ballot entrant to regularly check their email account for any updates on ticket availability.
  12. All ticket purchases will be subject to the relevant ticketing terms and conditions, which will be clearly signposted at the point of purchase.
  13. There is a purchase limit of two (2) tickets per person and per payment card for this event, unless otherwise specified at the time of sale. Purchasers who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its sole discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, payment card number or other information. Ticketmaster will notify you if this occurs.
  14. If you are a wheelchair users and/or a customer with specific additional accessibility requirements and are successful in the ballot, you will be invited to email the dedicated customer services team on tickets@lionsrugby.com
  15. Entry into the ballot constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, and any entries which are in breach of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  16. We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify these terms and conditions at any time (and for any reason) with or without notice.
  17. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered as a result of any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or other matter outside its or their reasonable control which may result in any email, ballot application or notification being not properly registered or recorded, sent or lost.
  18. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid by any court of completent jurisdiction this shall not prejudice or affect the remainder of these terms and conditions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
  19. Any failure by us to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right, power or remedy provided by these terms and conditions or by law shall not constitute a waiver of that right, power or remedy.
  20. These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
