Ashton starts again

One of England’s try scoring heroes from their second Test victory over Australia in Sydney last weekend will get the chance to end his summer on another high.

Northampton Saints wing Chris Ashton has been named in Martin Johnson's starting side to face the New Zealand Maori in Napier on Wednesday.

Ashton scored a superb try during the 21-20 triumph over the Wallabies on Saturday, as England secured their first win in the Southern Hemisphere since 2003.

The Maori will be hoping to add England’s scalp to that of the British & Irish Lions from 2005 and the Irish XV they beat last week when they meet at McLean Park.

England ended up with a win and a draw from their uncapped games against the Australian Barbarians and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten midweek record. Harlequins back row man Chris Robshaw will lead the side ands England’s other try scorer from Sydney, scrum half Ben Youngs, is included among the replacements.
