Davies demanding more from Wales

British & Irish Lion Jonathan Davies insists Wales are not done improving just yet after returning somewhere near to top form with victory in France on Saturday.

After last month’s defeat to England, Wales have bounced back with away wins against Scotland and, most recently, France.

Lions full-back Leigh Halfpenny – who scored 114 points on Tour in 2013 – was up to his old tricks, belting through five penalties as Wales won 20-13.

And Davies, who partnered fellow Lion Jamie Roberts in the centres, believes his side are on target for even better things ahead of their showdown with Ireland in two weeks.

"The longer we stay together the better we get and we can improve vastly,” he said.

"We need to keep working on what was good and cut out the errors.

"We're keeping ourselves in there and making sure that if someone slips up we can be there to pounce.

"(France) was a big challenge for us and I think it was a gutsy performance and a very good one in the end."
