Kyle Sinckler was an extremely popular member of The British & Irish Lions squad in 2017 and he played a vital role on the pitch, coming off the bench in all three Tests.

The tight-head prop started against the New Zealand Barbarians in the first game of the Tour and was then brought off the bench against the Blues.

The Harlequins forward started against the Highlanders, where he made a memorable charge through the middle of midfield, and was named as a replacement in the 32-10 success over Maori All Blacks.

With his three replacement appearances in the Test matches, Sinckler racked up 201 minutes on the field during the Tour and gained an impressive 71 metres from his 22 carries.

Sinckler came into the Tour having only made his England debut the previous November, but despite his relative inexperience, he was able to force his way into the Test 23 to play a crucial role in the drawn series against the world champion All Blacks.

He made a searing line break in the first Test at Eden Park down the right to set up Rhys Webb’s late score and he also won the crucial penalty that Owen Farrell slotted to win the second Test in Wellington.
