Murray isn’t yet dreaming of mouth-watering semi-final

British & Irish Lions scrum-half Conor Murray is refusing to let himself dream of a mouth-watering all-Ireland European semi-final clash ahead of this weekend’s last-eight fixtures.

Murray’s Munster host Toulouse on Saturday while on Sunday Leinster travel to defending champions Toulon and should both Irish sides win, the pair would clash in the semi-finals at the Aviva Stadium.

The sides met there in domestic action with Leinster – the home side on the day – edging home 22-18 in a match where seven British & Irish Lions were in action.

But Murray, who came off the bench for the Lions in last summer’s Tests in Melbourne and Syndey, is not looking so far ahead.

“We’re reluctant to talk about it because there are two huge tasks facing both sides this weekend,” Murray told the Irish Independent.

“It would be amazing. It would be a great experience and occasion for the Irish sporting public.

“But trust me, it hasn't even been mentioned this week in Munster. For us, it's all about Toulouse, they're a fantastic team.

“We know how good we have to be and that's been our full focus for the week.”
